Carrie Jones, ND, FABNE, MPH
Medical Director
Dr. Jones is an internationally recognized speaker, consultant, and educator on the topic of women's health and hormones. Dr. Jones graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon where she also completed a two-year residency in women's health, hormones, and endocrinology. Later, she graduated from Grand Canyon University's Master of Public Health program. Recently, Dr. Jones became board certified through the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology. She was adjunct faculty at NUNM for many years, teaching gynecology and advanced endocrinology/fertility. While in practice, Dr. Jones served as Medical Director for two large integrative clinics in Portland. She is currently the Medical Director for Precision Analytical Inc.
Debbie Rice, ND, MPH
Assistant Medical Director
Dr. Rice is a naturopathic doctor who maintains a part-time practice where she focuses care on pediatric health, hormone health, thyroid health, and adrenal health. She has had experience working with communities in need, both in the United States and internationally. Her training has been primarily in women's health, pediatric care, hormone therapy and hormone function, as well as complimentary adjunct care. Dr. Rice utilizes multiple modalities including diet and lifestyle, botanical medicine, and conventional approaches that meet the patient where they are at in their health journey. Dr. Rice's passions include activism for access to health care, yoga, and exploring nature.
Elizabeth Bartman, ND
Clinical Consultant
Dr. Bartman is a naturopathic doctor who earned her degree through the prestigious National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. She completed a 2-year residency with a focus on community health care and primary care, followed by work in a local urgent care facility where she married conventional protocols with holistic support to optimize the health outcomes for her patients. Prior to her work as a naturopath, she earned her BSc degree with a focus in cellular and molecular biology and worked in the nursing and research fields with focus predominately on the epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance in nursing homes. She maintains a private, part-time practice in Salem, Oregon, where she focuses on restorative and regenerative medicine, with an emphasis on environmental, nutritional and hormonal influence in restoring health to the whole person, through the lens of nutrigenomic medicine.
Kelly Head, ND
Clinical Consultant
Dr. Head is a board certified naturopathic doctor who completed her medical education at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. She also completed a residency at Pearl Natural Health in downtown Portland, where she specialized in Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, hypothyroidism, chronic fatigue, women’s health, and mold toxicity. For undergraduate education, Dr. Head received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and cell biology with a minor in cognitive neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego.
In her free time, Dr. Head enjoys reading, photography, rafting, camping, surfing the Oregon coastline and figuring out innovative ways to sneak veggies into her meals.
Tim Hyatt, ND
Clinical Consultant
Dr. Hyatt comes with a wealth of experience within the naturopathic medical industry. He earned his doctorate in naturopathic medicine and continues to focus on improving symptoms of brain-based disorders. Dr. Hyatt has spent the last seven years running his practice and e-commerce company Biogenic Nutrition. Dr. Hyatt has been instrumental in formulating products that make a difference in people’s lives.
Allison Smith, ND
Clinical Consultant
Dr. Smith completed her ND at the National University of Natural Medicine back when it was National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She worked in private practice, focusing on women’s health and dermatologic laser therapy where she fell in love with integrative and functional medicine. In 2014, Dr. Smith began incorporating her experience into clinical consulting, providing clinical education and support in the laboratory industry where she has helped foster the medical field’s understanding of safe hormone therapies, best practices, and incorporate integrative approaches to health.
She is a busy wife and mom of three kiddos and living proof the sandwich generation really can do it all (on most days). In her spare time, you can find Dr. Smith playing with her tiny dog, finding her Zen in the backyard, or going on local adventures with the fam.
