Endometriosis

What is Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a chronic pain condition in reproductive-aged women, causing symptoms like painful periods, chronic pelvic pain, and infertility. It occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, often affecting the pelvic organs, such as the bowels, bladder, and diaphragm. This tissue growth leads to inflammation, oxidative stress, and significant pain.
