At Precision Analytical, the health and safety of our customers and employees are our top priorities amid concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Please read our full statement on how we continue to operate safely and effectively during this time and how we are working hard to carry on business as usual to provide the best customer service and test accuracy you deserve while minimizing the potential spread of the coronavirus. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this pandemic.

We hope the information listed here will help you make the best choices for you and your patients' health. We continue to update our website and social media channels with current information as local and national guidelines evolve and any impact they have on our day-to-day operations.

Customer Service

One of our core values is We Take Care of our People. This starts with our employees, and we are doing all we can to keep everyone as safe as possible. We are encouraging sick team members to stay home and asking teams to travel only if it is business critical.

Unless otherwise noted, we are staying open! Our customer service teams are still taking calls and our lab is still processing specimens. We have a large percent of our team working from home to ensure day-to-day business activities continue, and those essential teams who remain in the office are there to maintain the highest quality of service and dependability.

Specimen Collection & Safety

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): “In general, because of poor survivability of coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.”

Here are some FAQs:

Q. How long can I keep dried samples before sending them in?
A. Hormone levels are very stable in dried samples. However, if you have difficulty shipping/returning specimen samples to the lab, you may place in the freezer (in a plastic bag) after drying.

Q. If I am feeling ill, can I still collect samples?
A. NO! Please DO NOT COLLECT samples if you are ill.

Q. Will you ship a kit directly to my patients?
A. All of our test offerings can be shipped directly to patients within the United States, for specimen collections at home, reducing in-person interactions.

Q. Where can I find online educational resources to help with interpretation?
A. Online learning and educational resources are available to support with interpretation and patient follow-up. You can access these materials here. You can also contact info@dutchtest.com to receive a link to our Treatment Guide.
