Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) is a severe, cyclical disorder affecting females of reproductive age that is often misunderstood, underdiagnosed, and challenging to treat. Although it is well understood that cycling sex hormones play a role, emerging evidence suggests that PMDD is not simply a disorder of sex hormone levels, but rather a condition of heightened sensitivity to normal hormonal fluctuations.

About the Speaker

Dr. Kaitlin Tyre is a licensed naturopathic doctor who earned her degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
