About our speaker
After an eating disorder brought an end to her career as a professional ballet dancer, Dr. Danielle Desroche began experiencing severe hormonal imbalances, including irregular periods, hair loss, and persistent bloating – yet repeated lab tests came back as “normal”. Disappointed by the lack of meaningful support, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, followed by a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a residency in Primary Care and Women’s Health. Along the way, she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis – an autoimmune condition often mistaken for PCOS – which provided long-awaited clarity and allowed her to address the root causes of her symptoms. Through a holistic, evidence-based approach, she regained her health and achieved a level of wellness she had never previously experienced.
