About our speaker
Filomena Trindade, MP, MPH, ABFM, ABOIM, FAARM, IFMCP is a physician, teacher, author, and lecturer in functional medicine. She is a member of the faculty at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and in the fellowship program in metabolic medicine at Metabolic Medical Institute (MMI). She graduated from the UC Davis School of Medicine and completed residency training at UC San Francisco/Santa Rosa program.
Dr. Trindade has been in practice for over 24 years. Before starting her own practice in 2004 in functional medicine she was the medical director of a non-profit organization that catered to the underserved. She is currently active in her Saudade Certification Program, in mentoring other healthcare providers, and in her heath retreats in Azores, her homeland.
