Inside Sales Specialist

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for building our healthcare practitioner client-base through email and outbound calling activities. This position will be responsible for customer acquisition and completing new account enrollments. The incumbent must be comfortable with making a high volume of outbound calls daily, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. This position will be connecting with healthcare clients (including vendors) that are assigned by sales management. This position will be responsible for creating and fostering client relationships. In addition, a high level of customer service, ability to multi-task, and a high degree of self-motivation is required to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Call potential clients and follow up on leads and prior engagements – expectation of 100 calls per day
  • Assist in development and implementation strategies to acquire new customers
  • Reviewing, researching, and verifying specific criteria to enroll new accounts
  • Coordinate, complete enrollments, and convert accounts
  • Create provider and/or vendor accounts in system
  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing new account data
  • Maintain quality service; advise manager of potential issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client account issues
  • Assume other activities and responsibilities as directed
  • Travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, and/or one year of direct work-related experience
  • Experience in cold calling from a telephone
  • Ability to engage 100 or more contacts per day
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Team player who works well as a member of a group
  • Strong commitment to company goals
  • Detail oriented and task oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Must have computer technology skills
  • Experience with CRM software, preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, Word and Excel, preferred
